The Hollywood Reporter isn’t the only media outlet to ask Josh Hutcherson about his thoughts on Gary Ross directing Catching Fire.

We reported earlier that Josh told THR, “I think Gary’s the man. Gary is in my mind is the only one that could ever direct the second one. That’s what I’m sticking to.”

ComingSoon.net also had the chance to talk with Josh today, and here’s what the actor told them about his expectations for Gary to return for the second movie.

“There is not much doubt in my mind he’ll be doing it. I think so. I don’t think there’s a chance he won’t,” Hutcherson told us. The actor, who plays Peeta, added: ”He killed the first one, absolutely knocked it out of the park. Everyone loved him. Myself, Jennifer and the others loved him. I couldn’t imagine making another movie without him, so that’s what I have to say about that…” [smiles]

He seems so optimistic about Gary returning; here’s hoping he’s right! If not, we expect someone from Lionsgate will be talking with him soon …

Cato – Cato might be a villain in The Hunger Games, but the popular series turned attention on a name that fits into a couple of other hot trends. It’s an ancient Roman name that, like brothers Atticus and Cassius, is being resurrected by modern parents. It’s got the stylish O ending. And it kind of sounds like Kate, a name in the spotlight thanks to the new future Queen of England.

Don’t forget that Josh Hutcherson will be a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” tonight. The show airs on NBC at 11:35 PM ET, and Josh is listed as the first guest. He’ll likely be promoting both The Hunger Games and Detention.

Also, The Civil Wars’ upcoming appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on April 11th (tomorrow). The duo tweeted today that they’ll be performing their song “Kingdom Come” from The Hunger Games soundtrack.
